For Immediate Release

PALACE releases a special issue on Tropical Waterfront Living, and prepares for a major focus on European Capital cities in the next issue

SINGAPORE, 20th March 2014  - PALACE releases a special issue on Tropical Waterfront Living (March-May 2014) and prepares for a major focus on European Capital cities in the next issue (June-August 2014).

The latest just released issue No.8 of PALACE (March-May 2014), the quarterly elite property showcase from Heart Media, highlights Tropical Waterfront Living. Currently available on newsstands, this issue provides readers with an optimal view of the upscale residential property market in Koh Samui, Phuket, Bali, Boracay and Penang. Market reports, benchmark developments and lifestyle elements round-up this highly accessible and comprehensive special report.

Another hot story featured: in a bid to attract foreigners to acquire property, the Greek government offers residence permits to property buyers from non-EU nations. Property prices in Greece have dipped 40 per cent from peak following economic slowdown, according to a report from PALACE. Industry insiders, including developers, agents and owners, weigh-in on the latest developments and speak candidly about the hot areas for good bargains.

This issue also showcases rare Parisian apartments that have come onto the market, as a result of several wealthy French citizens fleeing the country to avoid rising taxes. Built during the Haussmannian period in the mid- to late - 19th century, these apartments offer unequalled value and are very seldom offered for sale.

PALACE upcoming issue No.9 (June-August 2014) will highlight residential property prospects in key European cities and immediate suburbs with a Special Report comprising of market outlooks, legal and tax regulations applied to foreign buyers, benchmarking properties and locations on the rise. Paris, Milan, Barcelona and Berlin have been pre-identified as the focus areas.

Another feature in the said issue will cover developments in London, an all-time favourite among many Asian buyers. Queen’s Park, an established neighbourhood in London’s North-West section is one of the focus areas. Supply is currently limited to small turn-of-the-century housing but new, high-end developments offering modern specifications are on the rise. Valuation in the area is still lower than in nearby upscale neighbourhoods: Notting Hill, Maiden Vale and St John’s Wood.

Higher demand and rather limited supply will continue to sustain the European property market in the short term, while Asian buyers are expected to lead the way in investment and acquisitions”, highlights Mr. Gael Burlot, Executive Director at Heart Media who looks after the expansion of PALACE across Asia amongst high net worth individuals.

As in all previous issues, the PALACE Residence section will review top-grade residential developments in Asia, Australia, North America and Europe. Palace Finder: the classified listing of Asian and International properties as well as private islands for sale across the globe will round up the next issue’s offerings.
